Overland Safari to Ladakh
Destination : Chandigarh - Manali - Sarchu - Pangong Lake - Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey - Khardongla - Nubra Valley - Leh
Duration : 8 Nights & 9 Days
Day 1 : Arrive Chandigarh - Manali
On arrival pick up from Chandigarh and transfer to Manali ( 350 km/9 hrs).Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Manali - Sarchu (222 km)
Early morning drive to Serchu, driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Serchu in the late afternoon. Overnight in fixed camp at Serchu.
Day 3 : Sarchu - Leh (255 Km)
After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 : In Leh : visit the town and surrounds
The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. Afternoon visit Shanti Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Leh - Pangong Lake (150 kms.)
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey-Leh (165 kms.)
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7 : Leh-Khardongla- Nubra Valley (125 kms.)
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.
Day 8 : Nubra Valley- Khardongla-Leh (125 kms.)
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the
double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon
/ evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 : Departure Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

- Do not drink, smoke, take drugs or spit in the monastery premises.
- Avoid talking loudly or disturbing the peaceful atmosphere.

TRANSPORT : The pricing is for groupings of 02, 04 & 06 pax sharing 01 CAR ( NAC Qualis / Xylo /Scorpio / Innova etc.). Pls. note we do not use smaller cars in Ladakh due to the topographical factor, which requires heavy vehicles.
The following points are to be noted for Child Rate ::
- Children above 10+ years will be considered as adult.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per Child without Extra bed
- Children below 5 years Complimentary.
(Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked).

Important Informations :
- For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but some hotels only provide a roll out
bed and have no provision of an extra bed.
- Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days
in each destination and without compromising any services.
- The vehicle used is NAC and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal. Clients are requested
to follow the timings in the program.
- In case any services are miss due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds
- Child sharing parents’ room will not be provided an extra bed.
